Apple Cake

Cakes, Biscuits and Bread  

Ingredients

200 gm Plain flour
75 gm Sultanas
100 gm Butter or margarine
100 gm Caster sugar
2 tsp Baking powder
1 pinch Salt
200 gm Apple diced or sliced
2 Egg(s)
1 Lemon(s), juice and zest

Method

Preheat the oven to 175�C.

Rub the butter or margarine into the flour, baking powder and salt. Add sugar, fruit, lemon juice and zest. Then add beaten eggs and mix well. Turn into a greased cake tin and bake for 1 hour.
