Boston Bread

Cakes, Biscuits and Bread  

Ingredients

450 gm Wholemeal flour
500 ml Milk
200 gm Mixed dried fruit
200 gm Granulated white sugar
4 Tbsp Golden syrup
1 tsp Bicarbonate of soda
Salt

Method

Warm the milk and the golden syrup. Add the bicarbonate of soda and then all the other ingredients. Spoon the mixture into a pudding bowl and steam for 3 hours.
