Lamington Cake

Cakes, Biscuits and Bread  

Ingredients

200 gm Butter or margarine
4 Egg(s)
200 ml Milk
400 gm Granulated white sugar
300 gm Plain flour
2 tsp Baking powder

Method

Pre-heat the oven to 185�C.

Cream the butter and sugar. Add the well-beaten eggs. Fold in the sifted flour and baking powder alternately with the milk. Pour into a well-greased cake tin and bake for 1 to 1.5 hours.
