Sauces, Stuffings and Marinades
2 Onions
100 gm Breadcrumbs
2 Tbsp Butter/oil
Salt
Black pepper
2 tsp Sage
Saute the finely chopped onions in the butter and/or oil. Add the sage, breadcrumbs and seasoning and lightly fry. Add water if the mixture is too dry.
If fresh sage is used, you will need more than 2 teaspoons. Other herbs can be added if required eg parsley.
