Sauces, Stuffings and Marinades
175 gm Soft brown sugar
110 gm Butter
6 Tbsp Double cream
Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat gently until the sugar has dissolved. Continue cooking until the sauce has thickened and slightly caramelised, stirring all the time to avoid burning.
Serve with Steam Pudding (see recipe in Pudding section) or over slices of Gingerbread (see Cakes section).
