Tempura

Ingredients

70 gm Cornflour
30 gm Plain flour
80 ml Iced fizzy water
Ice crushed

Method

Mix the cornflour and plain flour together. Add the iced fizzy water and a handful of crushed ice and mix roughly. if the batter seems too thick, add a bit more water.

Lightly coat the tempura vegetables pieces, prawns or pieces of fish with flour then coat with the batter. Fry in hot oil until done. Drain on kitchen towel. Serve immediately.
